Airs 11 May at 9:00 p.m. on TLC

The first order of business was to strip the last paint job and massage the body.  Both quarter panels were replaced, and the entire body smoothed over 3 days before going into paint.  A custom House of Kolor mixed black cherry basecoat was applied, and then the "Fire" was applied by Killer Paint.  Even the air cleaner assembly and the valve covers got the "Fire" treatment.  Then the clear coat was applied, and the car headed back for assembly.
